woke up at 11.. went college.. print some stuff.. went to lunch at Raffe alone.. went to baptist bookstore to check out some CDs.. paid bills.. and blah blah..

Places i've been to recently:

Komtar Dome?- Roy Durman's healing Rally.. played there.. haha.. was amazed to see blind people gaining their sight too..

Johor Bahru- played for a charity dinner with SAND.. was quite a trip..

Kuching- OMG.. i missed it so much.. people there are so nice, the place is so clean, and also that my closest bro is there too..

KL- Passion Concert.. was a great trip.. learnt lots of new stuff.. and gave my heart away to Chris Tomlin.. T_T .. i'm gay..

Taiping, Maxwell Hill- went there for a camp with my closest classmates and the buddies that i've been seeing everyday for the past year..

Taiping, FGA- was playing there too... with SAND..

7. Raymond - my bro whom i've spent most of my time travelling with SAND.. also someone who shares stuff with me.. (including giving free food).. haha.. my worship leader and also someone whom i really look up to..

8. Yin Hooi(my 'mom') - yes, i really do miss it when i dun see her..

9. Michele dear - someone who knows me well enough to be my mom even.. haha.. i really missed the times we spent together, hanging out almost everyday... playing and singing for you.. disturbing you and stuff.. haha.. but you have taught me so much that i could never have learnt from anyone else and i appreciate it very much.. just wanna let you know that i still love you a lot and that i'll continue to pray for you and with God, be by your side through your hardest times.. HUGS..

People i'm NOT missing:

1. Tsu, Alwyn, Alvin and Daniel - my bandmates.. who really tolerates when i'm not in the mood.. a bunch of really talented people and that they are all deifinitely gifted and has been used and will be used further for God's work.. they are too close to me that although we're not meeting up, i dun have to miss them.. ahaha... one heart, one body, one spirit, dudes..

Tsu - erm.. great job singing and stuff.. i really enjoy your enthusiasm when we're performing and stuff.. haha.. let's rock the FLORR!!!... p.s.- still love you although you tease me a lot.. haha..

Alwyn - my buddy.. whom i always love by bullying him.. haha.. really hope to be serving with you for God further.. we share the same interest in some music and really enjoy jammin with you too..

Alvin - you are very matured for your age, although sometimes we are crazy as kids.. haha.. erm.. thanks for introducing me Carl's Jr.. haha.. i know your heart for God and i really believe that this is just the beginning of many beginnings for your service to Him..

Daniel - one of the few bros who are actually older than me, but comes down to the level of my age so that we can all be crazy.. haha.. really enjoyed chatting and being with you.. haha..

2. the second person i'm not missing is definitely my mom.. haha.. cuz i see her everyday.. and you know.. haha.. lol.. but i'll cry whenever i travel far from her, because i really do miss her and that i know that she misses me a lot too..

3. Kev and Sharon - .. haha.. i wont miss you guys cuz.. erm.. i dunno.. just wont miss you guys.. haha.. kev is my great bro and has helped me in my youger days to grow in the Lord, even till now.. thanks for your encouragement and your support.. Bro loves you two..

4. Jae Sean and Boon Hoe bro - i really hate it when you guys didn't call me.. but it rarely happens though.. haha.. i know that i've been busy lately and that i have no time to spend with you guys.. but i know that you two would understand right.. haha.. thanks for being right there with me when i really need you guys.. you know what i mean.. haha.. thanks to Mariel and Zhen too.. lol.. Boon Hoe should date mariel.. then it makes you two sets of couples.. haha..

5. dudes form Fettes Park Baptist.. haha.. ok.. here's something.. i know that i always travel especially on weekends and that i cant attend all of our youth activities.. i really missed it.. and i really dunno how to make up for it.. i'll never miss you guys because you all are always in my heart.. and i know that whenever i travel and stuff.. you guys would pray for me.. right.. haha.. awesome bunch of people.. Day 3: ...saying our last goodbye

ok... so, the story continues..

woke up at 6.30am.. came to Holy Trinity Church immediately.. morning mass starts at 7.30.. so, we only had like 3 and a half hours sleep, many thanks to GIRLY MAN!!
this is the first time i am attending a catholic mass.. so, was quite excited.. and then, the bassist happen to be absent on that day.. so, they asked me to play with them.. haha.. so, i agreed, of course.. was fun.. hehe..

then they had a special meeting with us.. and Pastor Kok Aun shared.. was cool..

erm.. it's been quite some time since i last updated.. have been real busy these few days.. read on and i'll tell you whta's up, kay?..

16th May 2008.. Friday..
erm.. was busy helping kevin and sharon doing the final preparations for their wedding that's to be held the next day.. erm.. blah bah, blah blah, and we went for his bachelor's party at night.. YEAH.. a lot of questioning and stuff.. haha.. the only thing we kinda regretted is that he didn't get wasted.. lol.. sent him home safely after that..

17th May 2008.. Saturday..
yeah.. this is the big day for them! woke up at 7 am and after preparing and stuff, reached kev's house at 7.30.. fetched sharon, gary and KV to the bridal house for make up.. ermz.. it was kinda fun as this is my first time being a driver for a married couple.. haha... reached church at around 9 plus, and the wedding commenced.. Praise be to God that everything went on smoothly.. as there will be 3 ppl celebrating their birthdays this week, we actually wet them!.. haha.. so, the ppl we wet were kevin, james and andrew.. as i was the culprit... i also accepted the wet punishment.. ermz.. ya.. that's kinda it..

at night, we went to northam beach cafe, planning to go for a round or two of bowling after that.. it was all dark there cuz the electricity tripped.. so, the whole place was kinda candlelighted.. erm.. ya.. so, everyone had candles on their tables.. and daniel actually dared me to blow off someone's candle, rewarding me with the price of him paying for my bowling later.. and i actually went to the next table and did it, after 20 minutes of hard thinking.. lol.. ya.. that's kinda all for that.. went for bowling after that and went to daniel's house to play chat and ******** till 4 am.. haha..

18th May 2008.. Sunday..
erm.. today is kinda routined as my activities are almost the same every sunday.. went church, SAND practice after that, and the only different thing is that we're celebrating the spoelmans' thanksgiving party as Rachel will be leaving for her studies and the family will be gone for 6-7 months.. was fun as there was food, BBQ, and of course, lots of water-splashing around.. came home, slept at 2+ am and here i am now writing this blog post..

update!!!
haven't been updating cuz of my exams.. lol.. no time.. had to spend them studying.. will have exams till 6th of march i think.. lol..
have been quite busy u know, doing this and that.. haha... but i seriously enjoy doing them.. went for swimming yesterday.. with jsean and the rest.. was cool.. went to makan at Raffe after that.. the food is fantastic as usual.. came home and slept for a complete 12 hours.. woke up and now suffering from body aches all over.. maybe cuz i haven't been exercising my body that often.. lol.. now i'm off for studying!!! will try to update as soon as possible.. including the fact that i have things to update.. haha.. that's all for now..

haha.. sorry for the late update everyone.. my second post in March.. have been very busy.. but nothing much did i do.. lol.. other than teaching guitar, go college, practice guitar, online, practice and more practice.. haha.. last time, i always look forward toward practices and stuff.. haha.. but now, hearing the word practice(no matter what practice other than kissing darling practice) drives me real mad.. haha.. i mean MAD!!.. lol.. have been very busy practicing for FPBC's 50th anniversary celebration which is today.. there's not much publicity and stuff but hey.. people just pop up from everywhere.. today is also the appointment of ALVIN CHEW as our senior pastor.. it was fun as it was the first time i attended meetings like this.. lol.. ayways, back to the practice part.. we practiced this choir kinda thingy with the accompaniment of guitar.. so, i played guitar while singing with them.. and the practice was crazy!!.. haha.. i mean the crazy Crazy, u know.. i played until my hands and fingers shake cuz of the excessive strumming that my finger does throughout the song especially after the 4 hours non-stop practice we had yesterday.. later got another practice.. lol..

anyways, people have always been asking me: 'hey, jo.. what're u up to..' well.. here's the answer.. erm.. i'm up to studying hard lately because i dun wanna fail any papers the next sem cuz of the newly executed marking scheme.. erm.. i'm also up to saving time and money.. lol.. cuz i wanna continue to earn money for myself to ease my family burden.. haha.. anyways, i wanna telll u all out there.. PLEASE DONT ASK ME OUT FOR DOTA THIS FEW WEEKS CUZ I WANNA STAY AT HOME TO STUDY AND SPEND TIME WITH MY MUMMY!!.. haha..

have you ever felt that u suddenly lost something and felt empty about it?.. well.. i didn't lose anything but when i woke up this morning, i received a very different msg from my darling than usually.. instead of goodmorning and i miss yous, i received her msg saying that she has reached New Zealand safely and stuff.. well that's good news.. but today is really an awkward day as i could not send msges to her saying that i miss her and stuff.. it's really different.. i suddenly felt so empty inside me as i couldn't tell her about my day and my friends.. but praise God that His love is in me that although i couldn't hear Michele saying i love you, i could hear God saying that "be strong, my son.. my love is in you..".. i really wanna thank God that He has sent Michele there safely and i know that He will continue to bless and guide her wherever she go, whatever she does..

as the chinese new year is drawing near.. many people have have been praying to different gods.. offering sacrifices.. and stuff.. Me.. have been seeking and finding my best friend, Jesus.. to ask for some new year bonus.. haha.. i know that i am fortunate to have a loving and caring Father to provide for me.. and whenever i tell Him that i really need it, money indeed drop from heaven.. serious..
for example, lately i have been running low on cash.. so, i asked God.. telling Him that i need it quite badly.. and.. POOOF!!! money came.. in all sorts of ways.. fantastic.. i even have 70%(maybe more) of my meals paid by others, claiming that they feel that they wanna bless me with it.. cool right?.. recently, i told God that i need a watch.. just a random prayer.. without thinking much about it after that, i got my first Swatch today.. praise God.. plus, as i was bathing.. i told God again that i need a new shoe.. so, after that i just went down and asked my mom for permission to buy the shoe, hoping that she'll help me a lil bit, but.. after explaining to her.. she felt that it was quite logical.. and then, i gathered enough money to buy a new Adidas..(my first too..).. amazing right?.. plus.. there has been many instances that God actually provided for me, in ABUNDANCE.. i personally feel that we should acknowledge Him all the time while strengthening our brethrens' faith in Him.. Amen?!!

ok.. lately i have been very busy.. right.. very..
sometimes, i actually thought to myself.. who are you serving, Jo?.. you serving your God, or your ministry?.. and to my horror, at one point of time, my answer was actually, my ministry.. how have i let my "busy"ness get my eye away from the main goal?.. so, i have decided to take a break(yup, FPBC dudes.. that's the reason i took the break in case some of you don't know..)..

and for the past month, i learnt a lot of big big things from the littlest things that i see and experience.. the first and the most important thing that touched my life was when i read this book by Mike Pilavachi (life beneath the surface)..

what do you see??.. i saw that it is worship to feed the hungry.. it is worship to clothe the naked.. it is worship to home the homeless..
I finally see that when we do something for the lowest, we are actually doing something for the One that is Most High..
It is indeed a passage that i will truly hold on to.. sometimes, we just dont know that even by helping an old lady up the stairs, we're carrying the hand of Jesus.. i feel that it is the most privileged thing for anyone to do.. and indeed, it is the one offering that Jesus sees the most.. Jesus does not only look at us singing or playing up at the stage.. but He looks at the heart that is broken for Him.. the heart that breaks when we see others broken..

some people may think that it's very easy for me to say these things because I'm serving in the front line.. but, i tell you.. serving up front is not an easy task at all.. the lifestyle that I need to live up to (people's standards).. the struggle of pride that i go through.. etc..(too many to mention).. being up there is only an offering of my talent to my Master.. and i know.. many people just do not understand that the biggest offering we can offer to our Lord is the simplest smallest thing that we do- to love and care for others.. that's all..

the story: haha.. this is interesting.. trust me.. it is.. when we reached there, we checked in to our room(some super budgeted room we stayed in.. trust me again, u wont wanna know the details..).. and!!!.. i got the same room as Raymond and Daniel Wan.. this is definitely fun.. haha.. so, Daniel got his own bed.. and i got left to the same bed as Raymond(that's why so interesting.. Raymond was so darn scared to see my excited face..).. haha... so, we had our noon nap.. when i woke up, i saw ray and dan already on their clothes and i found out that i got only 15 minutes left.. haha.. so i faster faster brush my teeth, scrub my armpit, clean my tits and..........

the concert had a really bad start.. 30 minutes before the show, the feedback monitors blew up.. but, surprisingly, everyone was calm.. tried to fix but nothing much can be done.. though the woprld may fail us, but God never fails.. AMEN?>> so, the show must go on!!! the show went on.. and the singers sang without hearing themselves and we played without hearing them.. praise God, everything went well..

AFTER THE CONCERT...
haha.. so, we peacefully got back to our room after some debrief.. after that, went out to the nearest convenience store to get ourselves some supply... CARDS and CHIPS!!! haha.. so, we really had fun playing cards and we laughed loudly with our band producer at the next room.. so, all of them struggled to sleep.. haha.. sorry.. lolx.. slept early though.. everyone was tired but happy(this is the ending we're taught to use since primary school..)

Morning- after service, there was some meet the fans session.. so, talked to them and blah and blah.. after that, we went for lunch and packed up.. and then.. the fun begins!!!.. haha.. we tried to catch raymond to Kelvyn's roomm.. but then we failed.. so, he hid at Lucy's room and was scared to come out.. but he challenged us.. so, we waited.. all of us hid in my room.. so, we sent Daniel wan to trick him to clean up the room.. so, he came.. saw me sleeping.. he thought he was safe already.. so, 0nce he shut the door, he got attacked from his back.. and we .........ed him and took some videos of him.. erhm erhm.. whoever interested, please call me.. Rm 20 per DVD... original WAN!!!

had a good trip home.. was blessed by the sharing(and the food too..) by Pastor Bernard.. i'm pretty sure that alot of our faith was strengthened through this trip//

fooh.. feeling the aches on my lower abs.. decided to do some exercise yesterday noon.. so, i went to the field and do some, basic body work out (first time doing it again after stopping for one month..).. at night, went out with my darling to Gurney.. after that, it was kinda drizzling, so, i actually got my head to some rain.. so, i bathe as soon as i reached home.. woke up this morning with a flu.. great.. that's not all, whenever i sneeze, i feel every pain on my lower abs.. aikz.. sufffering now.. somebuddy help me!!!..and now, i'm gonna continue doing my study plan for my coming exam in one weeks time.. guys, please continue to pray for my health as i'll be travelling down Taiping this weekend and will have a few concerts coming up.. God, be my strength!!!

sometimes i really wonder why are some of our lecturers so arrogant and they cannot admit that they were wrong at times.. look:-
we were given a task of translating the sentence from english to Malay (whaffor i oso dunno..).. so, here it goes..
... are handling the same job as...
so, i translated as:
..sedang menangani tugas yang...

and my Almighty-never-wrong Lecturer (dun wanna mention names.. you know who you are!!!)
said that it's supposed to be:
.. sedang menghadapi tugas yang...
and i was like what the!!!..
menghadapi is facing.. menangani is handling..
when you face, doesn't mean that u're handling the problem... but when u're handling, means u are doing it.. which is also:- sedang menangani.. right?..
i tried to correct her but she insisted that she's right.. so, i got nothing to say.. lecturer BIG ma.. i dun care la.. she teach wrong thing is her problem la.. i'm not saying that she's a bad lecturer, but she must be able to accept correction lor.. if she does not agree, at LEAST go and check out before you state an argument right?.. that's a big sweat..

hmm... lately been very busy.. no time to blog.. so i'll update everything at one shot hor.. dun need waste time.. haha.. erm.. let's start from my saturday.. 8th of December.. still no signs of my wallet.. woke up early in the morning to fetch my mom, bro and sis from the bus terminal.. they just came back from Singapore.. yup.. i fetched tem without license and IC.. geng right?.. haha.. went to eat Dim Sum after that and saw Michele's parents at the eating place.. it's near their house.. so, no wonder can see them there.. after that, came home for a little nap(quite sleepy.. took a big nap actually).. at night was the concert.. was quite nervous and stuff.. went to church in the afternoon for a last minute sound check.. everything went fine.. Jeremy Koay came home with me after that to bathe and stuff.. had quite a good chat with him after not meeting him for a long time.. Concert went well.. my dear and her friends came to see me.. Sunday: found my wallet!!!... someone must have dropped it in my post box when i was at church.. money gone.. but thank God that all my important documents came home safely.. fooh.. and today is the first day my dear at Singapore.. miss her.. :(Monday: went to watch Golden Compass after class(was even after the class?.. haha..).. din really wanna watch.. but my friends all wanna watch.. so i ma go lor..

this is the FIRST time i ever lost my wallet!!!.. sobz.. yup.. today.. was at Netcity and poof!!.. suddenly found out that my wallet is not with me anymore.. so i tot maybe i left it at home.. so, my day went on happily.. went to fetch my darling after that.. went to eat at Sushi King.. she pay!!.. hehe.. THANKS HONEY!!! but the meal was terrible.. not the food, but the service.. we actually ordered something and it did not come until we asked them a few times.. first time, we asked.. they said ok and forgot about us.. second time we ask.. they say wait.. coming d.. so we waited.. third time we asked, i stared at the guy who prepared it.. so he guai guai make 4 us.. and it arrived one hour after we placed our first order.. ONE HOUR!!! we were like.. let's go d.. dun wait d.. ok.. we dun wanna complain much about that.. then we asked this 'tudung'ed fat girl for a refill of iced green tea... she was like showing me the face saying we dint have that here.. i was like 'what!!' u tak tau 'speaking' kar? tea u oso dunno?.. u tahu apa tu teh hijau kar? that's a big SWEAT!!

then we asked another malay girl for it.. then she looked at us.. gave us some shitty stare.. so i got quite pissed since then.. i was planning to screw the manager d.. then we asked again.. and finally we found some that understands english.. that's another BIG SWEAT!!

woah.. i'm kinda culture shocked here.. an international fast food outlet that hires shuttlecocks that cant speak english!! GREAT!! so we quickly went to the counter and fire the manager kau kau(enough enough).. oh ya.. forgot bout the tea.. after pouring tea, they didnt even smile.. just show their stupid-unsatisfied-look-like-under-paid face.. i complained everything.. nicely. my darling oso add fire!!.. haha... letting the manager know that i'm not unsatisfied with him.. but the workers.. so, he didn't really care much about what i said..until... i mentioned about e-mailing 'upstairs'.. woah.. can see that he's shocked!!.. 18 year old boy know about such a thing ar.. then he almost gave us discount for our food.. BUT.. he held back.. i was like.. oh no!!.. but he kinda assured me that the same thing wouldn't happen again.. hmm.. so, we cleared some 40 bucks bill and went off.. but the manager was kind of a nice guy.. so, i didn't screw him much la.. hah... about the e-mail thing, i would rather use some time to blog than to write complain there la.. haha..
after that, we went straight to my darling's house.. to teach her some guitar.. she's quite a fast learner.. maybe cuz of the good teacher oso.. muaahaahahaa!!!.. JK!!! so after that came home.. find my wallet.. TARAK!!.. so went to Gurney for dinner with Gary and Danny 4 a while.. then we went to report at the police station.. haha.. and u know what Gary did, he took out his new 500 bucks camera and started to snap.. then he kena marah from one of the seargents there.. haha.. funny..so after the report me went home lor.. end of a long day.. : )

hmm.. this part of my life is a lil bit busy.. hehe.. erm.. on the night of the 4th, i fetched Michele for work at 12 a.m. at Coffee Bean Gurney Hotel.. ya.. 12 in the morning.. to do some Christmas deco thingy for them.. so, i helped out lor.. haha.. it was ok.. quite fun.. ended at 4 a.m. and at that time, my eyes' looks were already no difference from a panda.. haha.. sleepy.. zzz.. after that, fetched Zhen home and we...........(cannot tell you..)
haha.. :P like that lor.. the next morning was great.. went for class from 9-11.. and slept throughout.. wooh.. haihz.. accounting class sumore.. been struggling with that subject lately.. so hard to understand.. then went home and slept throughout.. woke up at 2 to prepare fetch my honey to Gurney for movies with Jae Sean, Zhen and Mariel.. so glad to see so many of my long lost friends at Gurney on that day.. and we watched the show-Hitman.. woah.. it was quite nie.. violent though.. after that, me and my honey went to join her parents for a simple birthday dinner at Bella Italia.. hmm.. the food was quite nice.. Tiramisu.. purrfect!!.. then after that we went..........(that's for you to find out.. hehe...) although everything was simple, but i'm sure that it was a memorable one for her.. But thank God that everything really went on very smoothly.. came home after that.. was just practicing my bass an suddenly decided to go for a jog.. by myself.. suddenly thought of calling my dear.. so i called and she said that she's going for a hike with her daddy.. asked me along.. so, i was like kinda acting cool.. and said that's great.. i'll be able to.. so, i thought to myself.. hmm.. should be able to GUA.. without mental preparation, i went to meet Dear and her dad at youth park.. then we started our journey.. quite fun.. you know.. everything smooth.. UNTIL!! u.Desmond suggested that we go up till Point 5.. i was like.. ok ok.. sure.. then suddenly it occurred to me.. isn't point 5 the peak or something?.. erm.. mind's thinking that it's not that ok anymore.. haha.. show off!!.. ishk.. so we went on hiking.. you know.. hike hike and hike.. very long journey.. so on the way up, a few 50 year old APEKs actually cut through us.. i was like "what?!".. haha.. but by the grace of God, we actually managed to reach the top.. yippie.. was quite a nice experience.. drank coffee.. had a little chat.. then we came down.. quite tiring.. feeling little pains on my muscle now.. u.Desmond is quite a nice guy.. and i'm quite a shy guy.. haha.. so i went home..

lesson number one: dun try to show off by saying "okay okay" to ppl without thinking of what you're agreeing to..

so at night, i went to the Trinity concert that's held at KOMTAR cuz i've promised my mom to go with her to collect my sister's award(congrats celia).. and also promised to help out Raymond with some little little things.. so i went.. half dead (cuz last night slept at 2 and woke up this morning at 7 li dat to go eat LOH MEE with my mummy.. sumore went hiking.. haha.. i'm a jackass..).. helped to take photos.. and it came the time when we need to take the photos of the examiners.. so me and Sharon were like.. ooh.. who take ar?.. so she suggested that we play scissors paper stone to determine.. so i lost.. and she said that i'll ask and she'll take.. so we went there, i asked.. but Sharon said that Joseph wants to take.. i got forced to ask for permission and take their photos at the same time..

lesson number two: everyone, never trust Sharon Lee..

ok.. so the thing moved on smoothly.. quite nice.. proud of my sister too.. yea i'm proud, celia.. hear that?.. so, i'm gonna sleep now.. will post up the pictures soon.. i mean SOON!!!

muax.. Happy 2nd month!!~

ok.. since my sister said that i haven't been updating my blog, i'll be recapping on what's happening to this crazy guys life for the past week.. erm.. life's been quite busy.. shuffling my time between studies, family, friends, ministry and my girl.. has been quite tired myself.. bursting into anger at times.. but by the grace of God, i went thru it.. have been quite stressed due to deadlines and stuff.. Thank God that it's partly over.. last night was the first time i brought Michele to see the other side of my family.. she really enjoyed herself very much.. i got quite embarrassed cuz everyone keep praising me on front of her.. especially Raymond and Rofina.. haha.. felt a bit "pai seh".. but i really thank God that she really enjoyed herself in the afternoon and also at night.. oh ya.. night was Ashley's birthday.. yesterday was the craziest Sunday of my life.. moning went to church, then afternoon went to fetch Michele and went for lunch together with my other side of the family.. woohoo.. Auntie Erika is back.. but only for one Sunday.. had good lunch at Tanjong Club.. after that went home to bathe, dropped by Clement's house cuz Michele wants to see his dog.. so, went over and played for a while.. and you know what's his dog's hobby?.. is to hump his favourite pillow.. haha.. so funny.. :P .. after that dropped Michele home and went for SAND practice.. learned to play two new songs.. Pineapple Island and Rhythm of Grace.. was very funny.. cute songs.. haha.. then went to fetch Michele again for Ashley's party at Raymond's new house.. food was nice.. enjoyed our time talking to the rest.. then went home..

today was a very special day.. so i brought Michele out for a jog at Botanical Gardens with my new bike.. and wished her a Happy 2nd month at the Japanese Garden somewhere hidden.. was quite nice.. hehe.. had fun yesterday and today.. and after finishing this entry, i'll most probably hopefully be studying.. have fun all of you and God bless..
